Business Controller Marketing & Innovation to Paulig Group

We are looking for a Business Controller to work with Marketing and Innovation. You will play an active and important role to World Foods, Flavoring Santa Maria, Risenta and Gold & Green, R&D Foods, Global Brand Portfolio, Retail and Out Of Home Products Foods and Customer Brands.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

In this role you will take full ownership of the Business Cases Foods portfolio in the product development process including input, challenge and follow-up. You will coordinate together with the project lead, the work with local BA and Supply Chain & Sourcing regarding input to Business Cases, track innovation successes and post launch evaluations. This role is responsible for supporting and financial evaluating Brands and Portfolio plans. This role will be placed in Mölndal, Gothenburg and report directly to Director Business Controlling Marketing & Innovation.

Other responsibilities within this role

• Evaluation of Business risks and opportunities driven by Brands Portfolio and R&D Foods
• Support Foods portfolio Price Strategy
• Support Financial BI solutions of Brands Portfolio, R&D, K&I and CP&D needs

REPORTING AND PLANNING                                      

• Monthly financial analysis and profitability follow-up of portfolio assortment Foods
• Monthly accruals for SMI Foods
• Manage cost control of Product & Concept Foods
• Manage and support the LE process within Foods
• Responsible for reporting the Plan for SMI Foods including analysis, mainly P&C and C&P

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Minimum university degree in BA or Economics
• Minimum 5 year experience in similar role, preferable in international company in FMCG or similar industry
• Ability to translate complex financial impacts into simple business terms
• Ability to challenge
• Highly analytical and self-driven
• Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles
• Fluency in English and preferably “Scandinavian” language
• Advanced level in use of Excel

OTHER
This is a temporary position to cover for a Maternal Leave from May/June 2020 to approximately September 2021. This role will be placed in Mölndal, Gothenburg and report directly to Director Business Controlling Marketing & Innovation.
