Business Controller Supply Chain & Sourcing to Paulig Group in Gothenburg

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
In the role you will be responsible for Business Controlling related to Sourcing within Supply Chain. You will be part of a team were you need to support and challenge in all operative and strategic issues and opportunities. The role will report to the Director, Business Controlling, Customer Brands and Supply Chain & Sourcing. The role is placed at the Paulig office in Mölndal, Gothenburg.

Your main tasks

• Drive improvements in Supply Chain reporting and Cost Control from a process and system support perspective
• Reviewing and analyzing financial results and profitability
• Providing proactive decision-making support to stakeholders
• Challenge the business in a constructive way, based on your knowledge and financial insight
• Provide strong business support in improvement activities within Sourcing & Logistics
• Explain deviations in main business drivers
• Drive and coordinating budgeting and forecasting processes within the business function of supply chain and towards the business areas
• Continually contributing to the development of processes and routines within the Business Controlling team
• Coordination of BI solutions towards supply chain

YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a self-driven, business-minded person with talent for handling, structuring and analyzing big data, preferably with 5 years of experience from Business Controlling related to Supply Chain (Sourcing/Purchasing, Supply Planning and Logistics). Experience working in Supply Chain/Sourcing within FMCG will be looked upon favorably, but is not an exclusive criteria. It is essential that you are structured, with a proven ability to drive change/improvements and to finalizing started activities. You need to have the ability to connect with people and to explain complex matters in an understandable way to trigger activities.

You will have worked with ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics AX preferably, and is comfortable working with large volumes of data. You will also have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint as well as being fluent in English.

To succeed in the role as Business Controller, you must be an independent person with strategic skills and the ability to see the big picture. It is crucial that you are driven and have the ability to take own initiatives. The successful candidate will also be business smart and committed to see started activities through till the end. Further on it is essential to have good communication skills and be responsive towards colleagues, managers and business partners.
